Job Description

Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Bus Driver to join their team in Columbus, Ohio for a contract with COTA. This role focuses on ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues as needed.
  • Uphold company policies, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness.

Required skills

  • 21 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with at least 3 years of motor vehicle history
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
  • Availability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays
  • Punctuality and attendance emphasis
  • Physical ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
