Overview

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Night Shift Loader Operator for their Locust Ridge Quarry in Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania. The role involves performing yard activities such as loading, unloading, and inventorying stone products and materials, ensuring safety and compliance with MSHA and H&K policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of equipment daily
  • Operate the loader to load, unload, and distribute materials
  • Maintain haul roads and stockpiles for safety and accessibility
  • Provide excellent customer service to on-site customers
  • Perform routine maintenance on the loader

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to utilize appropriate PPE
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements
  • 3 months+ experience operating heavy equipment, particularly loaders
  • Experience working in a quarry or outdoor industrial setting
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification preferred
