Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in PCICU/CVPICU for a new opportunity in San Francisco, California. This position is set to start in October 2025 and offers a flexible schedule with a minimum of four 12-hour shifts per month, primarily involving pediatric and neonatal patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in an inpatient, hospital-based setting
  • Manage 17-18 patients per day, primarily pediatric and neonatal
  • Perform procedures as needed, such as IVs and arterial lines
  • Participate in team-based patient management
  • Be available for optional night and weekend call

Required skills

  • Pediatric cardiovascular critical care experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Comfortable in PCICU with neonatal to adult patients
  • Experience with ECMO/CRRT preferred
  • Team-oriented and flexible
  • Strong communication skills
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • CPNP-AC certification
  • Active CA License or willingness to obtain one
