Job Description

Overview

Sumo Staffing is seeking two CRNAs for opportunities in Fauquier and Albemarle Counties, Virginia, starting ASAP until June 30, 2022. This locum role includes various scheduling options and requires an active VA state license.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care and management for adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and preparations
  • Administer advanced airway management and post-anesthesia care
  • Conduct placement of central venous catheters and general anesthesia procedures
  • Ensure effective discharge processes post-anesthesia

Required skills

  • CRNA certification
  • 2 years minimum experience in anesthesia
  • VA Active State License
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to start PIVs and arterial lines
  • Ability to start and titrate vasoactive medications
  • Familiarity with ultrasound for vascular access, CMAC, and glidescope
