Job Description: Job Description The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable law firm, and we are looking to hire an experienced Of Counsel Attorney - Probate to support its growing Nevada practice. This is a flexible Of Counsel opportunity for an attorney with experience handling Nevada probate courts, estate administration, guardianship, conservatorship, and related court procedures. This role is ideal for an attorney Who has their own practice or other professional commitments but is interested in taking on additional probate-related matters referred by a growing multi-state law firm.Who can help the firm serve Nevada clients locally, appear in court when needed, and provide practical, reliable support on probate and estate-related matters. Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Practice Areas: Civil Litigation, Probate, Guardianship, Conservatorship & Estate-Related Disputes What You'll Do:Handle Nevada probate and estate administration mattersRepresent clients in probate court proceedingsManage & assist with guardianship and conservatorship mattersDraft and review probate pleadings, petitions, motions, notices, and related filingsAttend hearings, status conferences, and other court appearances as neededGuide clients through the probate process, timelines, required documents, and next stepsCommunicate clearly with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team membersHelp evaluate new probate-related matters for scope, complexity, and fitSupport contested probate or probate-adjacent litigation where experience allowsProvide local Nevada court knowledge and procedural guidance What We're Looking For Qualifications & ExperienceActive Nevada bar admission and good standingExperience with probate, estate administration, guardianship, or conservatorshipFamiliarity with Nevada probate court procedures Additional Skills & AttributesAbility to appear in court as neededStrong client communication and interpersonal skillsSound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detailAbility to manage referred matters independently, responsibly with minimal supervisionStrong responsiveness with clients and internal firm contactsComfort working within a flexible Of Counsel relationship Preferred Experience Additional experience in any of the following is a plus:Contested probate mattersEstate planning and trust administrationFiduciary disputesReal estate or business matters involving estatesCivil litigation involving probate-related disputes What You Can Expect Work and Compensation StructureCompensation: 55% of collected billings, or hourly rateFlexible Of Counsel relationship, not a traditional full-time employee roleWork volume may vary based on firm needs and client demandIn-person court appearances may be required depending on the matter, court, and client needs Why join the firm?
