Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist for inpatient coverage in Cincinnati, Ohio, starting June 29 and continuing through September/October. This role involves working with a team to manage adult patients, focusing on stroke management and various diagnostic procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient neurology care for adult patients
  • Manage stroke cases including thrombolytics
  • Perform EEG and EMG procedures
  • Conduct brain death exams
  • Interpret radiologic results
  • Collaborate with 2 physicians and 3 APPs
  • Use Epic EMR for patient documentation

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Neurology
  • Active Ohio medical license (IMLC accepted)
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience with inpatient care
  • Patient management skills
  • Stroke management expertise
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic
  • Skills in EEG and EMG
  • Ability to perform radiologic interpretation
