Overview

Curative is seeking a Neurology Physician for a locum tenens position in Quincy, Illinois, starting in August 2026. The role offers flexible neuro coverage with a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties using block scheduling.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide neurology care for adult patients
  • Conduct outpatient consultations for 7 to 10 patients per day
  • Perform inpatient consults, averaging 3 to 4 per day
  • Read EMG, EEG, and continuous EEG
  • Participate in hospital rounding
  • Manage 24-hour shift coverage with low overnight call volume

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology (within 5 years)
  • Active Illinois license and CSR
  • Experience with EPIC EMR
  • Telemedicine and stroke management skills
