Job Description

Overview

The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist at OhioHealth will assist Neuro Interventional Radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. The role requires knowledge of various radiologic technologies and practices, along with a commitment to teamwork in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Interventionalist during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Greet patients and check charts for required data
  • Explain procedures and answer patients' questions
  • Participate in room turnover and transport patients
  • Assist the Radiation Safety officer with quality assurance tasks
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles and maintain accurate records

Required skills

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ARRT - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed in Field - State of Ohio
  • Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cerebral angiography
