Job Title: Network / System Engineer III (Messaging Administrator) Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Core Technologies: IBM MQ (Primary Skill) Confluent Kafka IBM Integration Bus (IIB) TIBCO Rendezvous (RV) TIBCO EMS WebSphere MQ Key Responsibilities: Administer and support enterprise messaging platforms with a primary focus on IBM MQ Provide operational and technical support for Kafka, IIB, and TIBCO environments Design, build, and maintain messaging infrastructure across distributed systems Ensure stability, reliability, and high performance of messaging environments Troubleshoot complex issues across multi-platform (Linux & Windows) environments Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations Monitor and tune messaging platforms for optimal performance Collaborate with production support teams to resolve incidents and improve system health Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in messaging middleware environments Strong expertise with IBM MQ (required) Experience with: IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Confluent Kafka TIBCO Rendezvous (RV) TIBCO EMS Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in distributed systems Proficiency with Linux and Windows in enterprise environments Experience supporting production systems with 24x7 on-call responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and middleware tools: meshIQ Navigator Atrium Orchestrator Dynatrace Splunk JIRA Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell scripting) Strong understanding of: Monitoring strategies Operational metrics Performance tuning Role Summary (Ideal Candidate): The Messaging Administrator provides operational, platform, and technical support for enterprise messaging systems, primarily focusing on IBM MQ, while contributing to Kafka, IIB, and TIBCO environments.
