Overview

The Net Loft Shop Superintendent at Pacific Netting Products, Inc. is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the fabrication shop, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This hands-on leadership role requires technical knowledge and operational expertise in manufacturing high-performance netting products like fish netting and batting cage materials.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead production and quality operations in the net loft fabrication shop.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and quality completion of projects.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and orders for correct materials and tools.
  • Enter labor hours and materials into the ERP system.
  • Participate in project estimating and design peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Installation Engineer to resolve fabrication challenges.
  • Conduct safety oversight and participate in safety meetings.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members.
  • Perform fabrications tasks using various materials.
  • Maintain inventory and report project logs in ERP system.
  • Conduct monthly safety walks and collaborate with HR on employee performance.
  • Lead QA/QC documentation and final inspections prior to release.
