Overview

Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking four experienced Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join a high-acuity Level IV NICU team in Hershey, PA. This locum or locum-to-perm opportunity offers flexible scheduling and strong clinical support for qualified candidates looking to impact neonatal care.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage 5-8 patients per day; up to 30 overnight
  • Attend high-risk deliveries, NICU codes, and OB traumas
  • Perform procedures including PICC, UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, LPs, and intubations
  • Transport critically ill pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with MDs, RNs, and NICU fellows
  • Participate in family meetings and care planning
  • Complete orientation including 7 shifts and EMR & transport training

Required skills

  • Healthcare & Medical expertise
  • Neonatology experience
  • Advanced Practice Provider qualification
  • Critical Care skills
  • Patient Management experience
  • BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
  • Board Certification (ANCC, AANP or NCCPA)
  • Active or pending PA license (IMLC accepted)
  • NICU Level III/IV experience
  • Ground & air transport experience
