Overview

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a full-time or part-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant to join their team in Boise and Nampa, Idaho. This role involves providing critical care for infants in a Level III NICU, collaborating with a team of neonatologists and NNPs, and ensuring family-centered care practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend high-risk deliveries and facilitate NICU admissions
  • Co-manage NICU patients with the attending Neonatologist
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide active management strategies
  • Encourage collaboration with parents to achieve optimal infant care outcomes

Required skills

  • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current RN and APRN licensure
  • National board certification as NNP desired
  • Physician Assistant with NICU experience considered
  • Current DEA and controlled substance license
  • Idaho medical licensure
