Overview

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) role at Cross Country Locums involves providing acute care for high-level neonates in a Level 4 NICU. The position requires attending high-risk deliveries and managing a patient load of 8-12 patients with mixed acuity over a flexible schedule of 12-hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Care for high-level acute care neonates in the NICU
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Manage a patient assignment of 8-12 patients
  • Perform procedures such as UAC/UVC placement, PICC placement, PAL placement, intubation, and chest tube placement

Required skills

  • Active Colorado License
  • NRP certification
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • DEA certification
  • 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
  • ECMO experience (preferred but not required)
