Job Description Job Description This role cuts, sands, inspects, and assembles custom cabinet components.Key ResponsibilitiesReads/examines tickets, drawings, samples, or written specifications to ascertain size, typeMove processed components from one operation to another on conveyors or cartsConfirm that jobs are completeMeasures sizes against the job ticketFeeds or tails machines processing componentsPerforms an initial inspection of products coming to the area (See quality checklist)Inspects materials or products for damage or for conformity to specificationsCorrects and Sand noticeable flawsPerforms quality inspection of product prior to next departmentDocumentation of remake rejects producedVerify product count against job ticket for completed order and attaches work ticket where specified.Picks up materials or products from conveyors, pallet, buggy or carts, and places materials or products onto conveyor and aligns materials or products on conveyor to insure proper flowBe familiar with all phases of manufacturing and departmentMaintain production demands schedules and efficiencyFamiliar with materials and dimensionsUtilizes CPI - Continues Process ImprovementAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two step instructionsKeeps area clean and organizedKnows, employs, and enforces safe work practices at all timesPersonal Protective Equipment must be worn, including respiratorMust quality for safe use of respirator, per respiratory protection program guidelinesPerforms other related duties as requiredMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma/Equivalent.
