Overview

The National Account Executive at Meet Minneapolis is responsible for promoting and selling the Minneapolis Convention Center and the city as a top destination for various meetings and events. This role focuses on achieving revenue goals and supporting local businesses by attracting visitors to Minneapolis.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve annual revenue potential and other job-related goals
  • Prospect new business opportunities through calls, visits, and events
  • Manage client agreements and event documentation
  • Conduct sales presentations and site inspections
  • Attend sales meetings and industry events
  • Utilize databases and technology to manage sales activities
  • Communicate event activity with other departments

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality or equivalent experience
