Overview

Niktor LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Outpatient Clinic in Wrangell, Alaska. This permanent full-time position involves providing clinical services, ensuring efficient operation of the clinic, and collaborating with healthcare providers and clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist patients and medical staff in the ambulatory care setting
  • Manage the overall operation of the clinic
  • Provide clinical services and ensure quality of care
  • Document all care and services professionally and timely
  • Maintain medication inventory and ensure quality control checks
  • Oversee the opening and closing of provider clinics
  • Assist providers and staff by anticipating needs for patient care
  • Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean work environment
  • Maintain skill sets, annual competencies, and certifications

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Alaska or another U.S. state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Less than 1 year of experience, 1 year of acute care experience preferred
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of nursing process, safety and infection control principles
  • Skills in assessments, specimen collection, communication, and medical equipment
