Multi-tiered Systems of Support Coordinator Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. Support the effective implementation of the district's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) model and vision. Special School District reimburses funding for the Coordinator for Multi-tiered Systems of Supports position. Essential Functions Support the effective implementation of the district's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) model and visionWork collaboratively with district administrators, school-based leadership teams, teachers, and the community to facilitate the implementation of MTSS at the district and school levelsActively review the fidelity of the implementation of MTSS at school sites, including the identification of students, delivery of Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and progress monitoringCoach school sites on analyzing student needs and identifying research-based interventions across academics, behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL)Help establish data collection and analysis procedures through a data system to inform decision-makingDesign, implement, and support ongoing professional learning experiences for the implementation of MTSS for school-based and district staffCompile and report on the effectiveness of interventions every quarter to improve district intervention and school systemsMeet with behavior interventionists and building-level teams to analyze and revise school-wide and classroom interventionsMonitor and prompt the use of district processes and procedures (e.g., universal classroom walkthrough)Ensure district-level communication of MTSS expectations (academics, behavioral, social/emotional)Provide coaching support and feedback to school-based MTSS teamsAssist school teams in using district-established criteria, tools, and sources of data/evidence to identify student needs, target skills, prescribed interventions, and develop high-quality intervention plansEvaluate and support the (MTSS) team members in supporting the schools that they serve Position Qualifications Requirements Knowledge of / Experience with:Knowledge of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) model, implementation of MTSS, and intervention strategiesExperience designing and delivering professional developmentAbility to demonstrate facilitation skills in large and small group meetingsAbility to plan, organize, and work collaboratively with other teamsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to create positive relationshipsStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailProficient in intervention management software and Google programs, including Google Slides, Documents, Surveys, and ExcelAbility to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple administrative departments and all district schoolsExperience working with similar urban demographicsManaging the analysis and presentation of data and the progress of data-driven initiatives for the leadership team(s)Strong ability to maintain confidentialitySuperior interpersonal skillsAccurate and attentive to detailEducation:Educational Administration CertificationFive years or more working in an educational settingExperience supervising a team of educatorsExperience with special education processExperience implementing MTSS (multi-tiered systems of support)Salary: Assigned to the Same Level as Early Childhood Site Coordinator on the Administrative Salary Schedule. 12-Month Administrator Work Calendar.Equal Opportunity Employer
