Job Description

Overview

Antioch University is seeking a full-time MSND Clinical Faculty/Director of Supervised Experiential Learning to teach and mentor students in its Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program. The candidate will be responsible for curriculum development, student engagement, and managing experiential learning placements, while fostering a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in health education.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses in nutrition and dietetics
  • Develop and evaluate competency-based curriculum based on ACEND standards
  • Infuse health equity throughout the curriculum
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
  • Advise and mentor graduate students on academic and professional development
  • Coordinate and manage student placements across diverse practice settings
  • Ensure SEL experiences meet ACEND competency and program requirements
  • Consult with supervisors and sites to assure compliance with ethical and professional standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical, community, and food systems partners
  • Support ACEND accreditation activities, including annual reports and program review processes
  • Collect and analyze program data related to student outcomes and program effectiveness
  • Participate in program and departmental service

Required skills

  • Masters Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered and licensed dietitian
  • 3+ years experience teaching in higher education
  • Experience in online teaching and mentoring
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
  • Knowledge of ACEND accreditation standards
