Overview

Antioch University is looking for a student-centered faculty member to serve as the MSND Clinical Faculty and Director of Supervised Experiential Learning for its Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program. This full-time position involves teaching graduate-level courses, coordinating student placements, and contributing to the program's accreditation efforts while emphasizing health equity and diversity.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach graduate-level courses in nutrition and dietetics
  • Develop and evaluate competency-based curriculum per ACEND standards
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
  • Advise and mentor graduate students on academic and professional development
  • Coordinate and manage student placements across diverse practice settings
  • Ensure SEL experiences meet ACEND competency and program requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical, community, and food systems partners
  • Support ACEND accreditation activities and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Required skills

  • Masters Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered and licensed dietitian
  • 3+ years experience teaching in higher education
  • Experience in online teaching and mentoring
  • Knowledge of ACEND accreditation standards
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
