Overview

As an MRI Technologist in the Imaging Float Pool at OhioHealth, you will play a vital role in patient care by operating MRI equipment and assisting radiologists during procedures. Your responsibilities will include patient preparation, quality control, and image processing, all while focusing on safety and efficiency in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for MRI testing through screening and care
  • Operate MRI equipment for various procedures
  • Assist radiologists during imaging processes
  • Perform daily safety and quality control checks
  • Send images to PACS and transfer for further manipulation
  • Administer MRI contrast agents
  • Maintain supply inventory in assigned rooms
  • Cover call duty as assigned

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • NMTCB certification
  • Technical skills in MRI operation
  • Patient care and safety knowledge
  • Quality control experience
