Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for their Grady Memorial Hospital location. The role involves operating MRI equipment, assisting radiologists, and performing quality control checks while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires and returning employees.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment for various procedures
  • Prepare patients for testing and perform thorough screenings
  • Assist radiologists during testing
  • Perform daily safety and quality control checks
  • Send images to PACS for interpretation
  • Administer MRI contrast agents
  • Maintain supply inventory in assigned rooms
  • Cover call duty as assigned
  • Demonstrate correct anatomic positioning skills

Required skills

  • ARRT or ARMIT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Experience in MRI technology and medical imaging
  • Cross-functional capability with CT and/or X-ray
  • Knowledge of safety and quality control standards
