Overview

OhioHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will prepare patients for testing, assist radiologists during procedures, operate MRI equipment, and perform necessary safety and quality control checks.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepares patients for MRI testing
  • Assists radiologists during procedures
  • Operates MRI equipment, including magnet and injectors
  • Adjusts pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis
  • Demonstrates proper anatomic positioning skills
  • Performs daily safety and quality control checks
  • Sends images to PACS for interpretation
  • Transfers images for further manipulation
  • Reformats and post-processes images for radiologist interpretation
  • Administers MRI contrast agents
