Overview

OhioHealth is seeking an MRI Technologist in Columbus, Ohio, whose role encompasses preparing patients for MRI tests, conducting procedures, and assisting radiologists. The technologist will also handle equipment operation, quality control checks, and image processing.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for MRI testing through thorough screening questioning
  • Assist radiologist during testing
  • Operate MRI equipment including magnet and injectors
  • Adjust pulse sequences based on body part and diagnosis
  • Demonstrate correct anatomic positioning skills
  • Perform daily safety and quality control checks on the MRI system
  • Send images to PACS for interpretation
  • Reformat and post-process images for radiologist interpretation
  • Administer MRI contrast agents
