Overview

A-1 Termite and Pest Control, Inc. is seeking a Mosquito Technician for their Hickory, North Carolina location. This role is designed for those who enjoy outdoor physical work and helping others, with a focus on delivering exceptional mosquito control services to clients. The position is temporary until mid-October, with the potential for full-time year-round employment.

Key responsibilities

  • Efficiently run a prearranged route using electronics and GPS
  • Exceed customer expectations in service delivery
  • Communicate service expectations and procedures to customers
  • Build respectful and courteous relationships with customers
  • Record operational records using electronic devices as required by state regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
  • Handle pesticides in compliance with state and federal regulations

Required skills

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Pesticide handling experience
  • Ability to lift and carry a 45-pound backpack sprayer
  • North Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to comprehend and speak written English fluently
  • Experience with route management and time management
  • Teamwork and safety compliance
