Overview

BMO Financial is seeking a Mortgage Specialist in Riverview, New Brunswick, who will play a crucial role in assisting customers in achieving home ownership. This position offers an opportunity to leverage entrepreneurial skills in a supportive environment backed by industry-leading training and a competitive referral program.

Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with referral networks to generate mortgage business.
  • Identify and refer sales opportunities to BMO colleagues.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales programs to drive results.
  • Assist in targeted marketing programs and promotions.
  • Expand network through referrals and local partnerships.
  • Participate in trade shows and community events to enhance bank presence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the mortgage application process.
  • Work with branch teams to finalize mortgage documentation.
  • Document and analyze customer data for insights and recommendations.
  • Adhere to operational guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills
  • Understanding of the mortgage lending process and regulations
  • Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and cash management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
