Overview

BMO Financial is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to join their team in Burnaby, BC. This role involves building and managing relationships with a referral network to generate mortgage business, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the application and processing activities to help clients achieve their home ownership goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a referral network to build mortgage business
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer clients to appropriate BMO colleagues
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales programs to drive business results
  • Support targeted marketing programs and community presence through events
  • Provide customer advocacy during application and processing activities
  • Guide customers throughout the mortgage application process
  • Collaborate with branch teams to finalize mortgage documentation
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
  • Complete transactions in compliance with guidelines to maintain operational integrity

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage lending and regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills
