Overview

As a Mortgage Specialist at BMO Financial in West Vancouver, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve home ownership through effective mortgage solutions. Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with referral networks to generate new mortgage business.

  • Provide customer service throughout mortgage application and processing activities.
  • Participate in community events to enhance BMO's presence.
  • Collaborate with branch teams for customer handoff and mortgage documentation.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with operational guidelines and regulations.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage lending or related fields.
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Expertise in personal banking, investments, and cash management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently.
