Overview

BMO Financial is seeking a Mortgage Specialist in Nanaimo, British Columbia, to help customers achieve home ownership through mortgage solutions. The role involves building and managing relationships within a referral network, identifying sales opportunities, and executing marketing programs to drive business results, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with a referral network to build a mortgage business pipeline.
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer to BMO colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales programs.
  • Contact referral sources to discuss home financing solutions.
  • Assist in implementing targeted marketing programs and promotions.
  • Seek cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Participate in community events to enhance the Bank's presence.
  • Guide customers throughout the mortgage application process.
  • Resolve customer service issues and ensure timely fund advancement.
  • Document updates in internal systems and analyze data for insights.

Required skills
