Overview

As a Mortgage Specialist at BMO Financial, you will play a crucial role in helping customers achieve their homeownership dreams while maximizing your earning potential through competitive referral programs. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage application process.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with a referral network to generate mortgage business
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer to appropriate BMO colleagues
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales programs
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and guide customers through the mortgage application process
  • Participate in trade shows and community events to enhance BMO's presence
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
  • Engage with referral networks to create strong relationships for mortgage originations
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines and requirements during transactions

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process
