Overview

As a Mortgage Specialist at BMO Financial in Cochrane, Alberta, you will play a crucial role in helping customers achieve their home ownership dreams. Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a referral network to build mortgage business

  • Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs
  • Proactively contact referral and origination sources
  • Participate in community events to enhance the Bank's presence
  • Assist customers through the mortgage application and processing activities
  • Resolve customer service issues and ensure timely fund advancement
  • Document customer interactions and maintain internal records
  • Conduct data analysis to provide insights and recommendations

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage lending and regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and cash management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to influence and collaborate within teams
