Overview

As a Mortgage Specialist at BMO Financial, you will play a crucial role in helping customers achieve their dream of home ownership. Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with referral networks to develop a pipeline of mortgage business.
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer to BMO colleagues as necessary.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales programs to drive business results.
  • Participate in local partnerships and community events to enhance the Bank's presence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as an advocate during the mortgage application process.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to finalize mortgage documentation and referrals.
  • Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for business strategies.
  • Resolve customer service issues and ensure timely advancement of funds.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage lending or related field
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Functional knowledge of personal banking and investment services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships
