BMO Financial is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to join their team in Regina, Saskatchewan. This role is designed for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are eager to help customers achieve their dream of home ownership. The position involves building and managing relationships within a referral network, executing marketing and sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage application process.

Key responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a referral network to generate mortgage business.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, referring to BMO colleagues as necessary.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs to drive results.
  • Participate in creating partnerships for home financing solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout mortgage processing.
  • Document updates in internal systems to ensure visibility on customer opportunities.
  • Resolve customer service issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
  • Engage with the referral network to generate mortgage originations.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field
  • In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process
