Overview

CornerStone Staffing is assisting a local Credit Union in Richardson, Texas with hiring a Mortgage Processor for a temporary position lasting 2 months. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to members involved in obtaining various types of mortgages and home equity loans, handling all necessary documentation and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and analyze various loan products including 1st Mortgages and Home Equity Loans
  • Provide timely review of loan approval conditions
  • Establish communication routines for loan status updates
  • Order and follow up on vendor documents such as appraisals and title
  • Prepare and distribute preliminary disclosures and closing documents
  • Schedule loan closing appointments and coordinate with branch personnel
  • Manage loan pipeline effectively
  • Provide support for Home Equity Line of Credit conversions and monitor expiration

Required skills

  • Knowledge of Texas 1st Mortgage and Home Equity Lending
  • Experience in Mortgage/Home Equity loan processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and in teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
