Overview

The Mortgage Post Foreclosure Specialist at Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation will support the servicing department by managing various tasks related to liquidation loss claims, evictions, property disposals, and more. The role demands a strong customer service orientation and involves both clerical duties and analytical decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • File and track Liquidation Loss Claims
  • Process evictions and manage Real Estate Owned property disposals
  • Evaluate and process Short Sales and Deeds in Lieu
  • Request inspections and approve property preservation work
  • Prepare monthly default reports and update investor guidelines
  • Provide superior customer service to homeowners, bankers, and vendors
  • Perform various clerical duties including filing and imaging of documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in loss mitigation and mortgage banking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accurately process transactions
  • Familiarity with established policies, procedures, and guidelines
