Overview

The Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist at Peoples Bank plays a crucial role in the processing, document preparation, and funding of new loans. Reporting directly to the Mortgage Loan Underwriter Officer, this position involves managing the loan pipeline, supporting customers through the loan process, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide loan processing support for timely underwriting and documentation maintenance
  • Handle incoming customer calls to resolve loan-related issues during origination and beyond
  • Prepare closing packages and manage post-closing duties, including funding loans and recording documents
  • Maintain a loan tickler system for tracking documentation and audits
  • Provide administrative support to the Real Estate Department, including filing and imaging loan packages
  • Identify and report HMDA information for real estate files and maintain escrow accounts

Required skills
