In this role, you will originate first and second mortgages, construction loans, and land loans while actively generating new mortgage business. High performers are rewarded for strong relationship-building, consistent production, and exceptional customer service, making this an excellent opportunity for driven originators to significantly increase their overall compensation over time.Reports to: SVP, Retail LendingLocation: Corporate Headquarters, Montgomery, New YorkBank Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pmKey Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, realtors, attorneys, and builders within the county.Conduct loan interviews, pre-qualifications, and collect all necessary customer documentation.Analyze credit reports and financials, resolve discrepancies, and present loan options.Manage the loan process, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely closings.Promote mortgage products within branches to drive referrals and cross-sales.Maintain required reports and records of loan activities.Requirements:2-5 years of related experience in mortgage lending or sales.Active and current NMLS registration.Valid Driver's License.Knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.Strong sales, customer service, and relationship management skills.Bilingual skills are a plus.Why join Walden Savings Bank?At our core, we believe in investing in our people.
