Generations Home Loans is looking for licensed mortgage professionals with underwriting experience to transition into a Mortgage Loan Officer role. This position is ideal for individuals who understand credit and risk and want to leverage their expertise in a consultative sales environment focused on building relationships and originating business.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply underwriting knowledge to assist borrowers in understanding loan options and qualification requirements
  • Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals
  • Consult with buyers from initial conversation through application, approval, and closing
  • Provide agents with financing strategies and timely updates throughout the transaction
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth loan experience

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
