Generations Home Loans is looking for mortgage professionals with operations experience to transition into a client-facing Mortgage Loan Officer role in Spokane, Washington. This role emphasizes building a book of business through relationship-building and operational knowledge, focusing on delivering a seamless mortgage experience from application to closing.

Key responsibilities

  • Transition operational mortgage knowledge into a client-facing origination role focused on purchase business development
  • Build referral relationships with real estate professionals, past clients, and local market contacts
  • Guide borrowers through loan options, documentation needs, application steps, and transaction milestones
  • Use understanding of mortgage operations to set clear expectations and support communication throughout the loan process
  • Partner with internal teams to move loans efficiently from application to clear-to-close while ensuring a high-touch client experience

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Licensing eligibility in CA, WA, OR, UT, or ID
