Overview

Generations Home Loans is seeking experienced mortgage professionals to transition from operations to a client-facing Mortgage Loan Officer role in Vancouver, Washington. This position allows individuals to leverage their operational knowledge to build a book of business while providing a high-touch mortgage experience for clients and real estate partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Transition operational mortgage knowledge into a client-facing role focused on purchase business development
  • Build referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Guide borrowers through loan options and application steps
  • Use understanding of mortgage operations to set clear expectations
  • Partner with internal teams to efficiently move loans from application through clear-to-close

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Licensing eligibility in CA, WA, OR, UT, or ID
