Generations Home Loans is looking for mortgage professionals transitioning from operations into a client-facing Mortgage Loan Officer role. This position leverages operational expertise to build a book of business through relationship-building and effective communication with clients and real estate partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Transition operational mortgage knowledge into a client-facing origination role
  • Build referral relationships with real estate professionals and past clients
  • Guide borrowers through loan options, documentation needs, and application steps
  • Set clear expectations and support communication throughout the loan process
  • Partner with internal teams to efficiently move loans from application to clear-to-close

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Knowledge of loan flow, documentation, timelines, and internal processes
