Overview

Generations Home Loans is looking for Mortgage Loan Officers with a background in escrow, title, or closing to transition into a production-focused role. Candidates should have experience in real estate transactions, understanding the purchase process, timelines, and client communication, allowing them to provide valuable financing guidance to buyers and real estate partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage escrow, title, or closing experience to build credibility with real estate agents and clients
  • Develop referral relationships with agents, past clients, and local real estate professionals
  • Guide borrowers through loan options, application steps, and documentation requirements
  • Communicate proactively with clients, agents, and internal teams to ensure a smooth process from contract to close
  • Build a purchase-focused mortgage business through relationship development and consistent follow-through

Required skills

  • Active NMLS License in good standing
  • Experience with purchase-focused residential mortgage origination
  • Ability to generate and maintain agent-based referral business
  • Licensing eligibility in CA, WA, OR, UT, or ID
  • Strong relationship management and client communication skills
  • Sales experience in financial services
