Job Description

Overview

As a Mortgage Loan Closer at HCLTech, you will be responsible for preparing loan closing packages and ensuring compliance with closing instructions. This role involves working closely with settlement agents and reviewing loan files and documentation to facilitate the closing process efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Review loan files to ensure all conditions are cleared and ready to close
  • Review title commitment for any issues before drawing closing documents
  • Input data accurately into the client's system for closing documentation
  • Coordinate the delivery of closing documents to settlement agents
  • Ensure compliance with state requirements
  • Review underwriting conditions and coordinate final fees for the Closing Disclosure
  • Review and approve documents for funding
  • Authorize and arrange for funding wire or check
  • Assist with post-closing corrections and audits

Required skills

  • 3+ years of mortgage loan closing experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Experience with loan documentation and closing procedures
