Overview

The Mortgage Foreclosure-Liquidation Specialist at Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation is responsible for managing active foreclosure loans and ensuring compliance with investor guidelines. This role involves communication with law firms, analyzing borrower financial packages, and providing exceptional customer service to homeowners and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Track and manage active foreclosure loans in correspondence with law firms
  • Evaluate past due loans for property preservation and loss mitigation options
  • Process pre-foreclosure sales and deed-in-lieu transactions
  • Request and track expense reimbursements from investors for foreclosure-related costs
  • Provide superior customer service to homeowners, bankers, and vendors
  • Perform various clerical duties including document filing and imaging
  • Complete other assigned duties as required

Required skills
