Overview

The Mortgage Customer Service Representative at Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation will assist in the Tax/Escrow area by managing property tax payments and performing tax related research. This role requires providing exceptional customer service to homeowners, bankers, and vendors, and involves various analytical tasks related to escrow and property tax management.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct tax research and prepare property tax payment files
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email
  • Perform individual and mass escrow analysis
  • Analyze new loans and mid-year reviews for new constructions
  • Approve escrow analysis statements and refund checks
  • Review and analyze web and lock box reports for escrow payments
  • Research and address escrow overdrafts and claims
  • Update flood and hazard information using OnBase work queues

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Experience with Black Knight System preferred
  • Analytical decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
