Overview

The Mortgage Consultant at Partners Bank will originate various consumer residential loans while adhering to established policies and regulatory requirements. This full-time position emphasizes exceptional service, relationship building, and promotes the bank through networking with real estate brokers and builders.

Key responsibilities

  • Originate consumer residential loans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional responsiveness and lending knowledge.
  • Promote the bank with real estate brokers, builders, and other centers of influence to build strong networks.
  • Receive and follow up on residential loan referrals from assigned branches.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Submit accurate loan files in compliance with the bank's policies.
  • Manage the loan pipeline closely with the assigned Processor.
  • Cross-sell or refer additional lending, deposit, or investment products as needed.
  • Participate in associations or events to build relationships.

Required skills

  • Minimum of three years of residential lending and sales experience.
  • Knowledge of lending and underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Strong sales, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with technology for loan application management.
