Job Description

Overview

Weichert Financial Services is seeking a Mortgage Loan Advisor for Company Generated Sales (MA-CGS) who will have the flexibility to work hybrid or remote. The MA-CGS will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans generated through various company channels and will engage with customers primarily through outbound calls and sales tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Originating residential mortgage loans from company-generated leads
  • Engaging and following up with prospects in accordance with guidelines
  • Conducting outbound prospecting and fulfillment calls to meet production goals
  • Interviewing potential customers to determine qualifications for loans
  • Preparing a calendar of sales activities and administrative work time
  • Conducting needs analyses to identify appropriate mortgage options
  • Preparing and submitting complete mortgage loan packages for underwriting
  • Collaborating with processing and underwriting personnel for loan fulfillment
  • Updating customer status and handling complaints
  • Meeting sales performance objectives and service level expectations

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Individual state loan originator license
  • 3-4 years of retail mortgage loan origination or operations experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Inside selling or contact center experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proprietary mortgage software
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
