Overview

Weichert Financial Services is seeking a Mortgage Loan Advisor - Company Generated Sales (MA-CGS) who will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans generated through various company initiatives. This role can be performed in a hybrid or remote capacity, depending on the candidate's location, and involves significant customer engagement through outbound calls and relationship building with prospects.

Key responsibilities

  • Originating residential mortgage loans from company-generated leads.
  • Engaging with open house prospects and following up per company guidelines.
  • Conducting a high volume of outbound prospecting and fulfillment calls.
  • Interviewing potential customers for loan qualifications.
  • Preparing and managing a calendar of sales activities.
  • Conducting needs analyses to determine suitable mortgage options.
  • Submitting complete mortgage loan packages for underwriting.
  • Collaborating with Processing and Underwriting for loan fulfillment.
  • Meeting sales performance objectives and KPIs set by management.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • State loan originator license(s) as required
  • 3-4 years of retail mortgage loan origination or mortgage operations experience
  • Experience with CRM systems and data input
  • Inside selling or contact center experience
  • Understanding of investor guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills and independence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good math skills
