Overview

Weichert Financial Services is seeking a Mortgage Loan Advisor - Company Generated Sales (MA-CGS) to support originating residential mortgage loans through various company-generated leads. This role offers flexibility with options for hybrid or remote work and focuses on customer engagement and sales strategies to meet specific production goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Originate residential mortgage loans through company-generated leads
  • Engage prospects and follow up according to Open House Guidelines
  • Conduct outbound prospecting calls to meet monthly production goals
  • Interview potential customers for qualifications on loans
  • Prepare and maintain a calendar of pre-planned activities for sales and customer engagement
  • Perform needs analyses to recommend suitable mortgage options
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, company policies, and investor guidelines
  • Field customer complaints and provide resolutions
  • Collaborate with Processing and Underwriting for efficient loan fulfillment
  • Meet and maintain sales performance objectives and KPIs set by management

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Individual state loan originator license(s)
  • 3-4 years of retail mortgage loan origination or mortgage operations experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems and data input
  • Inside seller or contact center experience
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to conduct presentations and multitask effectively
  • Strong customer service and math skills
