Overview

Cuso International is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to volunteer with the HEART Trust Foundation in Kingston, Jamaica. The role focuses on enhancing M&E systems to improve program effectiveness and governance, offering a unique opportunity for Canadian volunteers to contribute to meaningful change.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in carrying out a specialized needs analysis and SWOT assessment of internal processes
  • Enhance operational procedures for tracking and reporting institutional performance
  • Evaluate programs to finalize M&E reports and reviews
  • Provide training to staff on effective monitoring strategies

Required skills

  • University degree in project management or monitoring and evaluation
  • Experience collaborating with Senior Managers and implementing projects
  • Expertise in capacity building and organizational development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
