Overview

BioMérieux is looking for a motivated Molecular Biology Summer Intern to join their team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This internship offers college or high school students an opportunity to engage in early-stage research or product development within a collaborative biotechnology environment under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general laboratory duties
  • Conduct wet lab molecular biology work
  • Assist in planning and setup activities for research studies
  • Participate in data analysis and presentation
  • Co-develop and test new research productivity tools
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed

Required skills

  • Strong interest in biotechnology, biology, microbiology, or diagnostics
  • Experience or coursework in a laboratory setting
  • Comfort with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback
